Money a little tight?-----Have a staycation

The staycation

Some people love to travel.and they do it all the time.others hate to travel.preferring a quiet holiday at home on the couch. You might call them  couch potatoes, but some people believe the staycation (mix of stay and vacation) is the perfect getaway from a hectic life(快節奏的生活).these people shun(避開) the long lines at airports, the stress of living out of a (靠.....生活) suitcase.and so on .Instead ,they favor activities close to home.such as visiting a local museum or attending a theater production.

Discussion

  • Do you prefer fun-filled.active holidays or quiet ,relaxing vacations?
  • Have you ever had a staycation? if so,What did you do? if not ,What could you do during your holiday at home?

Economic

Another very important resean for choosing a staycation is an economic one.Traveling can be a very expensive venture.especially for a family ,and when times are tough ,many people choose the less-pricey(不昂貴)optins.that of keeping close to home.Picniking in the park, hiking in the mountains,or cycling through the countryside can all be done on a very low budget.besides the fiscal (財政)benefit.there is a physical aspect(方面) to activities like these, unlike sitting in a taxi or an airplane for hours.

Pamper

Besides those activities already metioned.another option for the staycation is to pamper yourself with an at-home spa treament.A hot bath,a facial, and a mani-pedi(修指甲和修腳) may be just the ticket for a harding-working woman,For guys, relaxing in front of the TV or grilling some steaks on the patio(天台) with a few buddies might be a little piece of heaven on the earth.
