tomcat7預設的程式釋出路徑為tomcat/webapps/ROOT/下面。

例子

比如我在tomcat/webapps/ROOT/路徑下新建一個jsp檔案，則可以直接通過URL為：

來訪問。

再比如我做檔案的上傳和下載功能時，可以在ROOT下新建一個FileUpload資料夾，把上傳檔案的路徑設為這個資料夾下，然後上傳一個檔案test.txt；做下載功能時，點選該檔案的下載按鈕，可以直接讓網頁開啟一個URL：

開啟tomcat/conf/server.xml，有如下程式碼：

name為本地訪問地址、appBase為專案的父地址，均可以修改。在host標籤之間加入如下標籤

其中path為虛擬目錄的名字，只要輸入IP地址就顯示主頁、docBase則為虛擬目錄的路徑，預設為tomcat/webapps/ROOT/，我們修改為 docBase=”example”，此時example就和ROOT的功能一樣啦！
