我使用version 8 的虛擬機器開啟 version 9 的建立的虛擬機器系統 丟擲錯誤資訊：
The configuration file "vmname.vmx" was created by a VMware product that is incompatible with this version of VMware Workstation and cannot be used.
我是能夠解決這個錯誤，我的主機作業系統的檔案系統上通過瀏覽這個VM的基目錄，然後我更新的主要虛擬機器配置檔案（vmname.vmx）和主VM磁碟的配置檔案（vmname.vmdk）
為虛擬機器配置檔案（VMX），我改了行：
virtualHW.version =“9”
改成
virtualHW.version =“8”
為VM主磁碟檔案（VMDK），我改了行：
ddb.virtualHWVersion =“9”
到
ddb.virtualHWVersion =“8”
現在，VMware version 8 可以執行的虛擬機器！
