英國的Bristol大學的Digital Media Group在高階圖形影象方面不錯。主要就是涉及到場景中光線計算的問題，比如用全域性光照或是各種區域性光照對高動態圖的處理，還有近似真實的模擬現實環境 (照片級別的)，還有用幾張照片來建立3D模型(人頭之類的)。另外也有對古代建築模型復原。
