TWS 耳機充電盒裏面的電源pcba主要有兩大用途，既要負責充電盒內部電池充電，還需要負責充電盒內部電池升壓輸出為耳機充電。此外還肩負安全防護，防止內置鋰電池過充、過放、短路、過流等保護功能。首先，控制外部電源給TWS耳機電池盒充電，將外部充電器電量充入鋰離子電池。這裏的外部充電器主要為5V的充電器，如常見的手機適配器，接口為MicroUSB或USB-C，然後降壓轉化為鋰離子電池所需的4.2V電壓進行充電，此外還有4.3V或4.35V多個規格。充電芯片有分為線性和開關兩種，其中開關充電效率高、發熱低，是目前主流的充電方式。
其次，TWS耳機電池盒電源PCBA還需要對外給TWS藍牙耳機供電，這時又會將鋰離子電池升壓為5V，然後輸出給耳機，耳機通過內部的充電電路完成對內置電池的充電。如此一來，當TWS耳機需要用電的時候，就可以放回充電盒自動補充電量。
充電盒升壓芯片也分為同步和非同步兩種，其中同步架構的效率高、發熱低，非同步整流效率低一些，和移動電源的道理是一樣的
