微軟建議 Windows 10 Mobile 使用者選擇 iOS 或 Android

Windows 10 Mobile 裝置技術支援將於 2019 年 12 月 10 日停止， 現在微軟開始建議目前的 Windows 10 使用者選擇 Android 或 iOS 裝置。微軟在 Windows 10 支援文件中提供了這條建議。同時，微軟將會停止向 Windows 10 Mobile 提供安全升級和補丁。

微軟 2017 年 7 月停止 Windows Phone 技術支援，並在同年 10 月停止了 Windows 10 Mobile 系統 開發 ，這也直接導致 Windows 10 平臺死亡。由於無法獲得應用開發者青睞，導致 Windows 10 平臺應用數量很少，無法建立基礎使用者群。

Windows 10 Mobile 被放棄後，蘋果開始將重點放在其他平臺的應用開發上，併為 iOS 和 Android 系統推出了多款應用。
