Debian專案負責人發起“Redis 模組開源與免費計劃”

近日，Debian 專案負責人 Chris Lamb 發起了“ ofollow,noindex" target="_blank">Redis Labs 模組開源與免費復活計劃 ”。

近期由於許多 Redis Labs 模組 License 變更，它們不再免費與開源，因此 Debian 和 Fedora 等 GNU/Linux 發行版也不再將 Redis Labs 受影響模組的相應版本提供給使用者。

於是 Debian 專案負責人 Chris Lamb 等人在 GitHub 上發起了一個新專案 GoodFORM ，將在 License 變更前 fork 出來的 Redis Labs 模組整合起來，並在原先的 License 之下進行維護，提供 bug 修復與安全更新。

發起者表示：“我們致力於永久地在開源許可下提供這些服務，並歡迎社群參與。”

目前專案參與者包括 Chris Lamb 和 Fedora 開發者 Nathan Scott，如果你也有興趣，趕快加入吧。

另外強調一下， Redis 的 License 從未改變過，它依然基於 BSD ，但是，Redis Labs 模組的 License 變更了，從 AGPL 更改為 Apache v2.0 ，並附帶 Commons Clause 。
