I've also linked to an article I wrote explaining a little bit about random number generators, and it briefly speaks on PCGs. It was a fun article but a lot more depth could have been gone into it. That's a goal of mine for later, is to go a lot more into researching and explaining RNG/PRNGs, what options are available and what works now.
