Over 50% of UC Berkeley’s campus downloaded Wildfire within a month. When a shooting happened near campus, we notified 4,000 students in 1 minute – and grew by 2,000 downloads in the next hour - literally spreading like wildfire. Whether it's spotting Matthew McConaughey at UT Austin or preparing for a hurricane together at UNC Greensboro, students use Wildfire to stay informed on what's trending on campus daily.

Wildfire is now used by tens of thousands of college students at over 30 campuses and we're on track to hit 200 in the next year. Colleges are just the beginning, soon Wildfire will be used by everyone, everywhere - from cities to different countries - to find out what's happening around them instantly.

We're a 4-person team backed by Y Combinator and several other top-tier Silicon Valley investors.

We're looking to hire our first engineers (full-stack or iOS). Our engineering team is very small so you'll have a lot of ownership and high impact. You'll also have the opportunity to learn other aspects of the business from growth and marketing to product and design.
