Early in my career, I found a number of books framing software development as a craft to be honed to be highly valuable in terms of motivation, both in terms of big picture career development and daily work.

5 years in, and I find myself in a leadership position at a startup, largely bored and perhaps a little burnt out, and looking to rekindle my early enthusiasm somewhat.
