一.安裝Oracle Linux 6.1
Oracle 搞自己的Linux 已經有幾年的時間了，一致沒怎麼留意，今天特意關注了一下，從edelivery上下載了一個Oracle Linux 6.1 的測試了一下。
安裝過程和Redhat 一樣，不過6.1 的版本多了對ext4的支援，然後在安裝時候提示會多一些。 在定製Server 的時候也比redhat 5多一些.
二.Oracle Linux 說明

關於技術方面的東西，這裡就不看了，這裡看一下Oracle Linux 授權問題。
2.1 What isOracle Linux?
Oracle Linux isan open source operating system available under the GNU General Public License(GPL) and is available for free download through Oracle E-Delivery . Oracleoffers 24x7, global support for Oracle Linux through a paid subscription.

2.3 What does Oracle deliver with Linux support?

（2） Three levels of Linux support tochoose from
Network –software, including updates;
Basic – 24x7 global support, complete Linuxserver lifecycle management, cluster software;

--只有購買了support， 才可以更新Patch，修復bug。
2.4 How much do I pay for Linux support from Oracle?
--注意這裡的價格也是和物理CPU 個數相關的。
根據以上的資訊，可以得出一下結論：
（1）Oracle Linux 是開源的，可以免費使用，並且在安裝時不需要啟用碼。
（2）如果想得到Oracle 的Support，就可以必須購買授權。只有購買了Support 之後才可以更新Patch 和修復bug。
BTW：
不知是虛擬機器的原因，還是習慣的原因，Oracle Linux 給我的第一感覺不太好，所以本打算用Oracle Linux做測試的想法被扼殺在搖籃了，繼續使用Redhat吧。
